SHARKS VICTORIOUS IN KICK OFF CLASSIC
The 2021 Sebastian River High School Shark Football Team traveled to Cocoa on 8/20/2021 to face the Space Coast Vipers in the Kick Off Classic and controlled the game from the beginning, winning with a final score of 28-3.
SHARKS DOMINATE 2021 SPRING GAME
With the spirited leadership of the Shark Varsity Cheerleaders, the Shark Families and Fans turned the Visitor Stands “Blue” and celebrated as the 2021 Sebastian River High School Shark Football Team took the field for the first time in their Spring Game against Gateway High School in Kissimmee, Florida, on 05/20/2021. At Half, Sharks lead 21-0. At the end of the 3rd, Sharks increased the lead to 35-0, and went on to beat the Gateway Panthers 42-7.
SO WHAT ELSE WAS NEW IN 2021?
In the off-season, the SRHS Football Family proudly watched not one, but two Shark Football Alumni (Jarez Parks & Tim Smith) compete in the Rose Bowl and play with Alabama to win a National Football Championship; the first time for any Indian River County school football program .
In 2021, our parent and community Board has achieved the next level and brought the formation of the Sebastian River Gridiron Association, a not-for-profit focused on supporting the Shark players and Coaching Staff on-and-off the field. This 501(3)(c ) proudly awarded over $2000 in college scholarships for our graduating Seniors this Spring.
